Cultural Literacy in the Dance Class

Join the New York State Dance Education Association for its annual winter conference in 2015, a two-day event dedicated to learning effective ways to introduce your students to the contributions of various cultures and the influence that they have on the world of dance. Through workshops, panels, and master classes, attendees will learn how to:

Incorporate a world dance curriculum into the dance class at all levels
Direct self-guided exploration and investigations of the student's own background
Implement exchange programs for enhanced learning experiences
