Curriculum in Motion® Institute for Choreographers and Dance-Makers

Jacob’s Pillow announces the virtual Curriculum in Motion® Institute for choreographers and dance-makers, designed to nourish the regional pool of choreographers and build a THINK/ACT/DO national network of dance-makers that utilize the Curriculum in Motion® approach in their work through a year-long, intimately curated professional development experience.

Developed over the course of two years and facilitated by core faculty Celeste Miller, Kimberli Boyd, and Michael Richter, you'll investigate how your work as dance-makers positions you as essential artistic, civic, and community partners in a COVID-19 world and beyond.

Jacob's Pillow's Curriculum in Motion® approach can support your work across community settings:

- K-12 teaching artist residencies

- museum and after-school programs

- community partnerships in medicine, business and civic planning

- re-visioning dance programs in colleges and universities

- and more!

And as participants, you can gain:

- Interactive online training, with individualized faculty support and feedback

- One-on-one mentoring, peer-to-peer co-mentoring, and group learning

- A certificate of completion

- A meaningful and active network of peers

- A chance to join the roster of esteemed Curriculum in Motion® Artists
