Dance Matters NYC is an innovative dance program of the highest quality based in Long Island City, New York, and is seeking dancers ages 14-17 for its Spring 2017 programming and beyond.

Audition will be held Saturday, March 18 from 10:30-11:30am at Spaceworks LIC (33-02 Skillman Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101)

The audition will comprise of a Ballet warm-up, Modern center work and will end with a Contemporary combo.  

Dance Matters NYC is a unique dance platform for the artistic development of the technically trained young dancer. It is devoted to continuously creating new work from a brilliant line up of New York City industry professionals. Dance Matters NYC strives to reach audiences of all ages and walks of life.  It is a space for technical growth, artistic discipline and professional training.  Members of our Senior Youth Ensemble have multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year and experience weekly dance training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Contemporary in state of the art studios.
