Class Description: Get ready to move, shake, smile, and sweat! Forty five minutes of nonstop dancing, mixing cardio with strength-based toning. You’ll forget you’re even working out! What you’ll need for class: a mat, a set of light weights, and your beautiful self.

Teacher Bio: Samantha Barriento, a native of Queens, began her training at a small dance studio. After attending LaGuardia Performing Arts High School and the Ailey/Fordham BFA program, she went on to dance professionally for Ailey II. Since her time at Ailey, Samantha has performed in numerous special events, including the Red Dress Fashion Show for New York Fashion Week. She has performed as a guest artist with Elisa Monte Dance Company in the Classical Theater of Harlem’s production of Antigone. She was also featured as a LatinX dancer to watch by Zoe Saldana’s media company BESE. Most recently, she returned from a contract abroad with Step One Dance Company for RWS entertainment. Upon her return, she created and is the current co-director for Inventa 2020, a virtual summer study program. She is currently teaching fitness classes on her own virtual platform and as part of OBE fitness.
