Dance/Movement Therapy & Substance Use Disorders

This course will focus on identifying best methods for DMT in the treatment of individuals with substance use disorders.

The body-mind connection, creative process, dance/movement and meaning making in DMT are central and consistent thread throughout this course. The aim is for participants to develop the habits of mind that will enable them to practice DMT in promoting sobriety and wellness in those who struggle with addictions.
