BARE Dance Company is thrilled to be returning to the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center with VENOMOUS after its sold-out world premiere in 2014 as part of the CUNY Dance Initiative. Artistic Director Mike Esperanza will be expanding on original choreography to once again present a unique and exciting experience for all audiences.

VENOMOUS is about the journey to accept one's true sexual identity. The audience is led as a witness to this difficult and at times lonely struggle. Upon entrance, dancers guide the audience through different vignettes, prompting them along the path to their seats, and then drawing them into the ups and downs of this transformative time through visceral and explosive movement.
