Danspace Project's 40th Anniversary Gala honors Eiko Otake & Wendy Whelan, two trailblazing women of contemporary performance.

Eiko Otake for her quiet fearlessness, as one half of Eilo & Koma for four decades, and now as a solo performer in the Body in Places project.

Wendy Whelan for her ferocious grace, as a star dancer with New York City Ballet for three decades, and now as she travels new terrain through the Restless Creature project.
