The new 6-week course “Discover Dance -
Spring in New York City”
starts this Thursday (4/14)

A compelling lecture series examining dance works performed about town this spring.

Choreographer and dance historian Henning Rübsam leads this six-week course ideal for novice as well as experienced dance-goers. Anchored by the New York City Ballet season, the course presents thorough and provocative insight into dance appreciation as we navigate diverse and exciting performances around New York City this April and May.

Rübsam implemented a dance appreciation program for the general public at Juilliard, where he has been on faculty since 2006. He teaches dance history at Fordham University. His dance writing appears in The Dance Enthusiast, The Hudson Review and others.
