SUGGESTED DONATION $8 OR PAY WHAT YOU CAN, ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TO THE TEACHER OF THE DAY.


For eight weeks, twice a year,  BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange provides a home for Dance To The People to curate donation based classes, inviting teachers who seek to develop a particular technique, or answer specific movement questions, hence making the learning space a collective laboratory.

This series is geared towards the professional development of dance teachers and as a means to offer affordable dance classes to a wide community of dance lovers and movers.

By offering a collective alternative in the exchange of knowledge in the dance/arts community, Dance to the People mirrors BAX’s commitment to challenge the manifestations of whiteness, able-bodiedness and privilege through anti-oppression, and pro-inclusion work.
