This workshop is taught by Gail Corbin and Deborah Carr, leading exponents in the technique and repertory of Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman. Come and experience the technique of "Fall and Recovery" and explore in depth those principles: weight, suspension and successional flow through Humphrey's purity of movement in the technique above and learn excerpts from both Humphrey and Weidman's rich and dynamic repertory.

- ISADORA DUNCAN

July 14-18, 2014 - 5 classes Mon-Fri, 1-3:00 pm

This workshop will be devoted to finding a deeper understanding of Duncan's technique and exploring the details of selected solo and group works from the repertoire.

- ANNA SOKOLOW
taught by Samantha Geracht
August 18-22, 2014 - 5 classes Mon-Fri, 1-3:00 pm

This workshop is based on the choreographic approach and works of Anna Sokolow. Ms. Geracht will teach a class based on Sokolow's movements and style, which follows a unique cycle of motion and emotion. Each session will be followed by an in-depth focus on a selection form the repertory.

- single workshop (5 classes – 2 hrs each):

$125 ($35 single class)

$100 early registration (deadline: May 31)

5% discount for combination of 2 or 3 workshops if paid in full (after June 1)
