The Harlem School of Arts Theatre Department presents
MEDEA
Adapted, Directed and Designed by Artistic Director Alfred Preisser
HSA’s modernist interpretation fuses the spirit of the ancient play with a contemporary awareness of the plight of women living in dangerously sexist societies today. This not-to-be-missed production will feature the professional debut of student actors from HSA’s Young Theatre Alliance Company, alongside professional actors from our faculty—actors KHALIL KAIN and TRACY JOHNSON are featured in the lead roles of Jason and Medea- for an evening of provoking drama, chanting and dance.
