Hip Hop w/ Rhea

Rooted in Afro Caribbean technique, Hip Hop dance is a dynamic and diverse dance form that fuses urban/technical dance and popular culture.Physically demanding in nature, this craft makes use of body, energy, space, and time in a multitude of ways. Hip Hop can be identified by its fusion of current cultural trends and the influences of past generations.

These classes introduce students to the fundamental elements of hip hop movement, incorporate them into choreography, and offer a dialogue that illustrates the role of hip hop philosophies and their importance in global and local community.
