House Dance International (HDI) is the first Urban Dance Festival dedicated exclusively to the art form of House Dance. The New York based event returns to Manhattan in July 2017 with fierce competitions in House, Vogue Waacking, Hustle, and Experimental, and Group House Battle (5×5) categories as well as workshops, interactive forums and more surprises!

The art form of House Dance continues to grow worldwide and HDI represents a New York-based mission to bring together the various individuals and organizations that have played a role in the creation and development of the art form. Every year, The Loft Practice, Inc., a 501c3 organization collaborates with the International House Dance Community and meets in New York City to exchange information, compete, reflect on the art form and properly honor the roots of House Dance Culture.

Whether you are a dancer, choreographer, DJ, house enthusiast or spectator, we want to see you in the building!. HDI is our call to unite, celebrate and recognize the legacy of our artform while navigating it’s future . . .
