TAKE Dance, directed by Takehiro Ueyama, presents In the Sea of Heaven, a program of two premieres by Ueyama and revival of the duet Les Reves D'apres Midi by renowned choreographer/master teacher, the late Kazuko Hirabayashi.  Ueyama will premiere In the Sea of Heaven, inspired by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan.  The work will be danced to live music performed by award-winning Japanese musician and composer Kato Hideki.  Also premiering is The Game 2, a second incarnation of the men's quartet from Ueyama's full evening Salaryman.  The Company will honor Kazuko Hirabayashi with a revival of her Les Reves D'apres Midi, originally created in 2004 for Ueyama and Jill Echo.  Though outside of her usual style, Hirabayshi created a romantic duet that is timeless in its beauty and humanity.
