Our Intensive 2-Day Weekend Workshop: Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) runs from 9:30AM to 6:30PM on Saturday & Sunday and is taught by experienced LIMS Certified Movement Analysts (CMAs)

Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) is a comprehensive vocabulary and analytic framework with which to identify patterns and changes of movement to perceive meaning. Learn to analyze the body in motion to become a more dynamic mover and communicator through understanding your movement preferences and investigate the many ways the body can shape itself and project into space.

LMA supports creative work in fields as diverse as Performing Arts, Music, Business, Psychology, Anthropology, Physical Therapy, Medical Research, Animation/CGI/Robotics, Ergonomics, Kinesiology, Non-verbal Communications, among many others.

Required for entry for the LIMS® Certification Program in Laban Movement Studies. This course has been approved by the American Dance Therapy Association as meeting the requirements for the Alternate Route R-DMT credential.
