Udai is a well recognized India tabla player, music producer and composer. Udai studied the art of tabla accompaniment with the legend Ravi Shankar. He lived with him in his house in Delhi for ten years and learnt the music . Later on, he accompanied him on tabla in his concerts in India and abroad. One of the very important concert were concert at prince Charles house on his birthday, concert in Sweden when Ravi Shinkar got the poler prize together with Ray Charles. He also accompanied him on tabla with Zakir Hussain on Ravi Shankar's 75th birth anniversary in New Delhi.
Namrate Rai is a Kathak dancer, which is one of the eight forms of Indian classic dance. She has been performing for past couple of years in India and abroad presenting classical Kathak repertoire and also theme based dance projects such as Geet Govind, Red, Monsoon Dance, Kathak & Amour, Soulful Sufi.
 
This year they are touring the USA. They would be in New York from October 1th until 18th. They are scheduled to play at The Living Room, Shrine and more. I am reaching out to you because I would like to offer their performances to your organization during this period. The band offers a variety of services.
 
They are also willing to give Dance workshops of Kathak Dance which could be three or maximum of five days’ long, with live music for beginners and advance students. You can also book the band for three hours per day for a workshop/artist/subject( Dance/Sitar/Vocal/Tabla) immaterial of how many students you would have (maximum 25 students per workshop). Lastly a general lecture-demonstration also can be organized just for the understanding of Indian classical dance and music together with all the artists.
