LEIMAY LUDUS: Guest Teacher Weekly Class with Peter Sciscioli

LEIMAY LUDUS: Guest Teacher Weekly Class with Peter Sciscioli Ana Lazarevska

Drop-in Class Cycle: Friday mornings, 9.30AM-11AM

April 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3

Tuition: $12 per class
Advance Registration is available but not required

Each class includes a physical warm-up, helping participants to increase breath capacity and access vocal resonance in the body. Various exercises for accessing resonance, volume, range, stamina and articulation will be introduced. Participants will explore how the extension of movement into sound can alter our perception and activate space differently than movement alone. Further, participants will experience a dialogue between spoken language and movement.  Finally, participants will discover how this interplay can expand the variety of choices that are available to performers, allowing for a fuller means of expression through the body.

LEIMAY LUDUS: Guest Teacher Weekly Classes are open to all levels, drop-ins are welcome and each class will have a slightly different focus that is progressive over the course of the offered cycle. This class is for anyone interested in exploring or using voice as a practice and/or in performance.
