WHITE WAVE Dance, led by choreographer Young Soon Kim, curates our second “Rising Choreographers NYC”, an off-shoot of our 12th Wave Rising Series,” featuring six of today’s leading-edge dancemakers.

This year’s “Live at The Archway” program provides a rare opportunity to introduce today's trailblazing choreographers to the discerning New York audience. Channel 13 NYC ARTS has celebrated our WAVE RISING SERIES, citing our festivals as a gathering of “innovative dancemakers from around the world,” and has praised the SERIES for presenting “an eclectic range of dance companies who have been selected for their artistic growth or visionary independent productions.”
Committed to encouraging new directions in dance, WHITE WAVE seeks out the most innovative and risk-taking dancemakers of our time, both emerging and recognized, and brings them to Brooklyn for one exceptional evening only!Seasoned dance lovers, and newcomers alike, will experience a vibrant slice of today's contemporary dance scene, as it forges its way into the 21st century.
