Join us on a Savoy Sunday for a fun VIRTUAL and historical dance workshop to Step and Hop to the Beat! Paulette Brockington will teach you steps rooted in Lindy Hop and more that can be incorporated into partner, solo or line dances. Fun for all in the family and a special Sunday treat

Our Instructor is Paulette Brockington is an Assistant Professor of Dance. As an Arts Educator of the Year and Michigan Heritage Award Fellow, she is an active artist-in-residence and workshop teacher. Paulette is founder and Event Director for The American Lindy Hop Championships. In January 2021 she began a 3-year appointment as a Fulbright Specialist for World Learning for the US State Department ending in 2025.

This Special Dance Workshop is part of The Harlem Roots and Rhythm Urban Dance Fest, which is made possible in part with funding from the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation and is administered by LMCC.
