Dear Performers:

We are so excited to create a dramatic stage performance for the 8th Annual  NYC Multicultural Festival(NYCMF) and we are  in search for dancers (8 to 14) to make up a fantastic cast.

The 8th Annual NYC Multicultural Festival is showcasing masks and masquerades while paying homage to our ancestors this year from different performance groups. #TheAncestorsAreComing

Performance will be set for  Saturday, June 3, 2017

 

Rehearsal Starts Tuesday April 18th to June 1st ( Tuesday  and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:45pm)

Deadline to apply: before and up until May 3, 2017 2pm

At the rehearsal you will have the  chance to show your performance quality so we can determine if you are a good fit.

Searching for fantastic dancers who are versatile with  strong performance presence, ability to learn fast, obtained some training in two or more styles, wants to build experience, committed, need professional video footage, a healthy vibrant positive attitude and to build dance resume.

Collaborative Choreographers:
Maleeka Harris (Chief of Staff at NYC Multicultural Festival and Artistic Cofounder of Femme La Kray) and
Kadeem Alston- Roman (Artistic Co-Director  of Full Force Wellness and Dance Repertory)

*This  performance project gives  dancers the opportunity  to build their dance resume, join the NYC Multicultural Festival platform, filmed, photographed and behind the scenes  rehearsal professional footage for their own visual resume portfolio.


This is a Nonpaid gig**
