Modern Dance 101: Dances by Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn, a program of rarely seen works by The Mother and Father of American Modern Dance, performed by a stellar cast: PeiJu Chien Pott (Martha Graham Dance Company); Christine Dakin (former principal, Martha Graham Dance Company); David Glista (Limon Dance Company); Valentina Kozlova (former principal Bolshoi Ballet and New York City Ballet); Bradley Shelver (Metropolitan Opera Ballet); Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble; Adam Weinert (specialist in recreating Ted Shawn's dances for men); dancers from the Limon Institute will open the program with "Floor Plastique," taught by Henning Rubsam.  Pianist is Nathaniel LaNasa.
