NIC Kay presents “You Black + Bruised” at Abrons Arts Center

You Black + Bruised [exercise 5 in getting well soon] is a triptych of one hour long performative duets centering absence and loss, to be presented over the course of three evenings. In this work, NIC Kay is reckoning with the 'they' versus 'us' paradigm, as well as with the aesthetics, architecture, and choreography of surveillance and incarceration.
