New York City Season

Limón Dance Company NYC Season Christopher Jones

Fiercely virtuosic and vibrant dancers from the Limón Dance Company bring the past and present together in a dazzling evening of collaborations and classics. Colin Connor’s witty and atmospheric The Weather in the Room, with powerful mature guest artists, Stephen Pier and Miki Orihara, leads to the rich intensity and formality of The Moor’s Pavane, a José Limón masterpiece. The digital world envelops the dancers in Radical Beasts in the Forest of Possibilities from choreographer Francesca Harper, in collaboration with composer/performer Nona Hendryx. Limón’s expansive and haunting Psalm ends the performance with sweep, power, and heart, creating an inimitable experience of American modern dance.
