Experience the traditional elements of the Dev Prasad Das School of Odissi dance. This ongoing class is open to everyone, experience the traditional elements of the Dev Prasad Das School of Odissi dance. Students will learn basic steps, torso movements, Arasas (rhythmic foot patterns), Bhanghis (sculptural poses), Sira, Griva, and Drisit Bhedas (head, neck, and eye movements, and Hasta Mudras (hand gestures).This class will be conducted by award-winning and accomplished performer/teacher Bani Ray. Students will have the opportunity to fine tune their techniques, learn a piece and may be given the opportunity to participate in an upcomingApril 30th Performance. 
Pre-Payment is required for all sessions.
