MOVE. SING. DRUM. DANCE! Welcome to Cumbe, the new home for dance and drumming in Brooklyn. Children love the fun and high-energy world of dance and music whose roots reach back to Africa. Our classes for ages 1 to 5 introduce young ones to creative movement and rhythm through a combination of movement games, song, story-telling, drumming and tumbling. Older children (5-14) have their pick of styles: traditional dance and drum, hip hop, acrobatic dance, modern dance with an African diaspora flair, musical theater and capoeira. -- Try as many classes as you like during our Pay What You Wish Week: September 9 - 15 (ages 1-14) -- Registration for our Fall 2013 classes is open! Register by August 23 and save 10%! Cumbe's new, light-filled dance studio, on Fulton Street right off Flatbush Avenue (near BAM and Barclays), is very easy to get to We also host amazing camps and birthday parties. Your child will have a blast! For more info and to pre-register, see www.cumbedance.com
