Red Hook Fest Hook Arts Media Featuring The Dance Cartel The Dance Cartel

Red Hook Fest is a beloved festival celebrating Red Hook, NYC’s most powerful artists, and community gatherings for over 25 years. Over the course of 2 days, audiences enjoy free barbecue, a DJ-led dance party, stunning professional performances by NYC’s most powerful musicians and dancers, and a host of pre-professional youth performances. Located on the scenic Red Hook, Brooklyn waterfront, audiences enjoy stunning music and dance performances with spectacular views. Hook Arts Media partners with local organizations to bring additional free resources, education, and services to each year’s event. Activities include scavenger hunts, reading tents, and free kayaking on the harbor. In 2019, Red Hook Fest returns to its scenic home in Valentino Park & Pier with a stunning lineup that includes The Dance Cartel, Ballet Hispanico’s second company: BHdos, and Taina Asili. With dozens of pre-professional youth groups performing on the Red Hook Fest stage, multiple family-friendly free activities, and some of Brooklyn’s most delicious food vendors, Red Hook Fest 2019 will be the can’t-miss event of the summer!
