SPARK, now in its fourth season, is a NYC performance platform aimed at facilitating networking opportunities through the performance experience.  Emerging from the desire to promote performance opportunities and network development for NYC artists, SPARK unites individuals of various backgrounds and skill sets in a uniquely tailored format, driven by collaboration, transition and conversation. Founders Martha Dobbs and Kate Bishop created SPARK with the goal to provide a lasting experience for artists, leaving all involved with a new network of diversely skilled individuals. Specialized application processes, annual Improv Jams and Works in Progress showings, program format and performance Afterglow events create an exciting atmosphere for the evenings work to thrive and resonate even before and after the night has closed.

SPARK will be showcased at The Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn on September 30th & October 1st at 7:30pm (160 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201). Tickets are $15 online through brown paper tickets and $20 at the door (cash only).  The post-performance Afterglow will be held at the theatre directly following each performance and feature snacks and spirits, including homemade pies by SPARK artist Luisa Martinez.
