Sunday Process Lab with Mariana Valencia
Company: Movement Research
Venue: Movement Research at Eden's Expressway
Location: New York, NY
My practice of making time-based work integrates but is not limited to: costume, installation, reading, the internet, travel, observation, design, verse and sound. I inlay information and unfold images and movement with a root aesthetic foundation. In this Process Lab we will experiment with some of my techniques to blend words, movement and color, using time as our frame. Please be prepared to observe, activate, speak and listen. Bring clothes you feel comfortable to move in.
