Swamp in the City


Swamp in the City is a Cajun music and dance festival in Brooklyn that celebrates the traditional music, culture and cuisine of Louisiana. The 3-day festival takes place May 18-20 and features over a dozen+ Cajun & Zydeco dance hall bands, group classes in music & dance, backyard music jams, and down home Creole cuisine.


Swamp in the City is thrilled to welcome Louisiana guest artists Joel Savoy, Wilson Savoy, Jesse Lege and Courtney Granger along with the C'est Bon Cajun Dance Band, the Empty Bottle Ramblers and the 99 Playboys. More artists to be announced soon! For festival updates, follow us on Facebook


The festival will take place May 18-20th, 2018 at Jalopy Theatre (Friday and Sunday), Threes Brewing (Saturday day) and Littlefield NYC (Saturday night).  Tickets are available here
