About the Work

Hector Canonge: TULLIDO is Hector Canonge's solo performance inspired by readings and reflections about the “crippled body” and “corporal recovery.” The performance incorporates elements of Dance Theater, Butoh, and traditional Andean dance rituals that evoke internal struggles, physical constraints, and personal inadequacies when confronted by corporeal challenges. The work consists of three parts defined by their own sequence of choreographed actions, movements, and music compositions.
