Take a Ballet Class with Martha Chapman!

Participate in a welcome and nurturing environment with an emphasis on understanding ones own body and how ballet works within that body for that individual. 

Classes are $15/class or $75 for a five-class card. Classes must be purchased in person not online.

Martha is a Co-Director of Omega Dance Company http://omegadancecompany.org/ where she has performed and choreographed for almost 20 years, including works for the National Cathedral in Washington DC and multiple venues in the New York area and directs Dance Ministries at The Church of the Village where Omega is an Artist-in-Residence. She performed with NYC Opera Ballet, NJ Ballet, Eugene Ballet in Oregon and Ontario Ballet Theater in Toronto, among others, in such venues as the Edinburgh Festival, with Cork City Ballet in Ireland and at Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors. Her repertory spanned classics like The Sugar Plum Fairy to “Shakers” by American modern-dance pioneer Doris Humphrey and works by Graham and Hawkins company members. She is a Senior Faculty member for the children’s program “The School at Steps” at Steps on Broadway and has conducted master classes and lecture demonstrations as well as being quoted extensively in “The Pointe Book.” She served on the Board of Directors and faculty of Dance New Amsterdam, and teaches at studios throughout New York City
