The American Tap Dance Foundation has been a leader in tap artistry and education for thirty years. Our Tap Teacher Training Certificate Program offers an approach to teaching rhythm tap based in the classic tap repertory of the Copasetics, the famed ensemble of rhythm tap stars from the Golden Age of Tap. Combined with the artistic vision and teachings of Brenda Bufalino, the Copasetic Canon Curriculum has been adapted into a clear and technically solid approach to teaching youth, teen and adult students at the American Tap Dance Center in New York. The Curriculum is now available to all tap teachers--and to advanced tap dancers who want to gain teaching skills.
