Level 1 Training and Certificate (ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2016)

Covers teaching beginning tap students (children age 6+, teen and adult students) and foundational concepts based in the Copasetic Canon for all rhythm tap teaching. All new Trainees start with the Level 1 Training. Applicants are accepted based on video audition and application.”

Dates for the 2016 Level 1 Training:

Sunday, July 17 – Sunday, July 24, 2016: Intensive week at the ATDC in NYC

August 2016 – February 2017: Trainees complete mentored independent work in their home communities.

February 19, 2017: Evaluations for Level 1 Certificate - Trainees will submit materials digitally for evaluation and do not return to NYC for exams.
