The Co-Op Premieres

The Co-Op Premieres Jack Van Antwerp

This is the story of 4 choreographers and 6 dancers who have been brought together to create an original show. The resulting work was inspired by and created for the dancers in collaboration with these wonderful choreographers. They all met as a group of talented strangers eager to develop new connections and ideas. Now they are a unit of artists who breathe as one for the sole purpose of sharing their phenomenal work.

This is The Co-Op. For more information about the wonderful dancers, visit: danceseries.org

The Co-Op is an original sponsored production presented by The Moving Beauty Series in partnership with Williamsburg Movement & Arts Center.

We have gathered the choreograpehrs, Laurie M Taylor, Michelle Thompson, Cameron McKinney, and Aaron McGloin together to work with a company of insansely talented dancers. The show stars: Sakurako Awano, Brittni Genovese, Zui Gomez, Kerime Konur, Ta'Rajee Omar, and Caci Pritchett

A highlight of this concert is that all participants pull from the proceeds equally. This is a true collaborative endeavour wherein no individual is greater than another and in which all contribute towards the greater good.

We plan to take this production on tour throughout our surrounding areas and communities. We believe that is possible to make something for the people and to inspire to them in turn to create something artistically beautiful of their own.

Join us for the premiere of The Co-Op on April 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2016, 8 PM. At Williamsburg Movement & Arts Center. 347 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY. 11211
