The Collective's Movement: A Fuzion Master Class Series- Afro-Caribbean w/ Makayla! Maleyah Peterson

Join us for an Afro-Caribbean Master Class w/ Founder & Artistic Director Makayla!

MMPTC is thrilled to announce that we will begin offering masterclasses to our community! These will be OPEN LEVEL classes in a variety of styles as we continue to highlight the FUZION of dance styles. Within each of our classes, we will be creating a safe space that promotes individuality, freedom, and creativity.

This Afro-Caribbean class will activate and highlight the connection between dance and music within Caribbean culture. With a focus on the cultural celebrations of J’ouvert and Carnival, participants will learn the history of the Caribbean and these celebrations by embodying community, freedom, and the culture through authentic social dance. This class will be a FUZION of African and Caribbean dance styles!

ALL LEVELS WELCOME!!

ADMISSION: $20 (In-Person); $15 (Zoom)
