After premiering in May 2014 to sold out, standing room only
crowds at the Alvin Ailey Center for Dance in New York City, The Victory Dance Project
returns to the stage on Sunday, November 9, for a revival of Artistic Director Amy Jordan’s
signature work, “Human Revolution.” This contemporary ballet portrays the struggle to believe
in the greatness within ourselves, and the power contained with the human spirit.

The Victory Dance Project will be joined by Sydnie L. Mosley Dances, presenting the world
premiere performance of “CAKE.” The latest work from Artistic Director Sydnie L. Mosley,
“CAKE” questions the definition of respectability, and considers how doing away with shame
with regards to the female body can enliven those bodies to create new, free realities.
