Triskelion Arts is pleased to present DAMN GOOD, a performance series co-curated by Launch Movement Experiment’s Andy Dickerson and Rachel Mckinstry that brings together artists who resist categorization and invite experimentation. All damn good; all uncompromising. Its premiere event features performances by five NYC-based artists. Each breaks down recognizable molds and blurs the thematic lines between music, dance, theater, performance art, and improvisation. Each evening in the series includes the work of three different artists, two long-form performances and one short-form performance. Through varied takes, perspectives, and approaches over two weekends in October 2016, these DAMN GOOD artists raise provocative questions, eliminate the tight grip of expectation and replace it with freedom, risk, and communication.
