In their latest work, Dishman + Co. “descend once more into the poverty of [their] materials” (Martin Heidegger), and find that they are far from poor. Using a long-form structure, Artistic Director Elizabeth Dishman joins with collaborator/performers Leah Ives (Trisha Brown Dance Company), Joshua Reaver (Third Rail Productions) and Myssi Robinson (Kyle Marshall Choreography) in an homage to process, pursuing an articulation of the live moment that is both piercing and lush. Responding to the disillusionment of the day, Run-on seeks both solace and power in the persistence of creativity, the tenacity of beauty, the everness of potential, and the generative nature of the body.
