“Leave space for the unexpected.” Triskelion Arts is pleased to present white road Dance Media’s latest work, NEON BRAVE, challenging the idea of the traditional performance “run”. This full-length work will be presented once a week over the course of three weeks at Triskelion Arts in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. NEON BRAVE is a work fixed on courage and brightness of being, investigating both the consequences of libertine actions and the strength needed to move forward. Can you accept your history and its consequences, your restlessness and driving desire to be more than the sum of your parts? Can you become the most powerful core version of yourself - locate and electrify your own neon bravery? A quartet of fearless women investigates these questions in real time, allowing them to become alternately entangled and interreliant, empowered and individualized. The production was created in collaboration with sound designer Chad Raines, who composed the original score.

This performance contains nudity and images that may not be suitable for young children.

Created by Marisa Gruneberg

Original score by Chad Raines

Performed by Sammy Donahue, Sydnie Liggett, Miranda Lyon and Alexandra Taylor

Lighting by Andrew Dickerson

Costumes by Joey Blaha

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. Created under the auspices of the Triskelion Arts Space Subsidy Program, made possible with support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
