Us Making Dances, Dances Making Us with Julie Mayo

Us Making Dances, Dances Making Us with Julie Mayo

$30 for one day – $55 for both days.
Class Description: Working with an emergent premise approach to making we will find ways to begin and follow what interests us from there. Experimenting with refining our perceptions to what is in front of us—with great allowance towards igniting our imaginations–we will pay attention to the physical and psychosocial experiences/events emerging from our making to discover how and where to go next. We will make room for both listening to the work emerging and actively imposing questions and experiments towards the creation of ‘worlds’ that, on their own terms, are specific to individual kinds of physicality and unique ways of thinking. Participants can focus primarily on solo or group material and through the integration of various modes of working, we will find forms for them. We will make time for working, showing and sharing. Both days encouraged, but one day okay too.
