Valentina Kozlova announces the 14th International Ballet Competition, April 8-12, with entrants from 15 countries around the world, dancing for company contracts and scholarships to dance academies.  President of the distinguished jury is prima ballerina Nina Ananaiashvili, and the panel of 20 judges includes such luminaries as Mikko Nissinen, A.D. of Boston Ballet; Eduardo Vilaro, A.D. of Ballet Hispanico; Virginie Mecene, Director of Graham2; Sergei Soloviev (France), Master Teacher at the Conservatoire National  Superieur in Paris; Ricardo Scheir (Brazil), Director of Pavilhao D Centro des Artes in Sao Paolo, and more.  Rounds will take place at NYLA, starting with Classical Ballet Round April 8; Classical Finals April 9; and Contemporary Round April 10, all starting at 1 PM.  Audience members may arrive and leave as they wish.  They may also step out and return by showing their admission ticket.  (The Gala will take place April 12 at the John Jay Theater at 7 PM).  For more details, please visit www.vkibc.org
