WE ARE NATURE: A Vibrant Tapestry - Echos at Sundown

NOoSPHERE Arts is thrilled to announce the upcoming event WE ARE NATURE: A Vibrant Tapestry - Echos at Sundown. This unique experience, part of Climate Week NYC, weaves together live performances by musicians, dancers, and multimedia artists to create a tapestry of expression and reflection on our relationship with the Earth. Event highlights include:

Climate Changes written, composed and performed by Emmanuelle Zagoria (Voice) The Department NYC presents Climate Changes, a stirring song cycle performance that blends voice, harp, and cello to create an anthem for the planet. More than just a musical performance—it is a call to action against climate chaos, filled with grounding harmonies, sweeping melodies, and a touch of humor. Each note is crafted to evoke awe and reverence for the natural world, inviting listeners to reflect on their relationship with the environment and envision a future grounded in sustainability and equity.

Wildflower Suite by Lia Pikus (Cello Performance) Composed during her residency at Shenandoah National Park, this suite of pieces is inspired by the flora of the park, each movement a dialogue with the natural world. Using a loop pedal and improvised melodies, Lia creates an immersive soundscape that is both meditative and dynamic. As a cellist, composer, and multi-disciplinary artist, Lia Pikus brings a unique perspective to music, connecting deeply with her environment to foster emotional and sensory experiences.

Site Specific Dance Performances by Hivewild (Excerpts from: with your sweet fragrance) with your sweet fragrance is guided by the question, “how do we become tender with the Earth?" This work aims to underscore how human relationships reflect human treatment of the Earth and its resources, by integrating a multi-species and multidisciplinary perspective. The goal of with your sweet fragrance is to facilitate a visceral and tender experience that leads to a deeper awareness of humanity’s role within the climate crisis and activation toward both individual and collective climate reparations.

Site Specific Art Installation by Seema Lisa Pandya the recipient of the 2024 Broadway Stages’ Arts Residency Award. Pandya's installation, Resonant Nature, is a striking series of vertical sculptures designed using the Golden Ratio and Fibonacci Sequence. Made from sustainable materials, these sculptures serve not only as art but as functional bird perches and insect shelters.

The event has a tiered pricing structure and is accessible to all. TICKETS HERE For press passes or additional information please contact: press@noosphere-arts.nyc
