What Works II

Season 5 Image Nir Arieli

Season 5 Premiere is Officially Upon Us...And we would like you to join us!
This year's premiere will be an exciting two night/two program event at Center for Performance Research in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

Alongside the premiere of the newest work Border Control: Are There Enough Walls Yet? And the dance film Voiceless in Spaces filmed in Paris with filmmaker Edwige de Montalembert, are the return of two works restaged and reconstructed. UnDoing and Americana with original composed and live performed music by Idan Morim.

Both evenings will also unveil the three year long practice as research led by Megan Curet, ACT.NOW. in a live gallery exhibition, co-curated by Weiss Nydorf. The unveil will exhibit tangible evidence collected in performances and workshops across three continents over the years. Join us for either program A or program B the company Gala. Tickets are now available at early bird!

What Works II, is the sum of two and a half years of choreographic practice and investigation into the politics of identity, notions of resilience and freedom all embodied by contemporary dance choreographed by Megan Curet and performed by the dancers of Curet Performance Project.

We look forward to sharing these exciting new and returning works with you and celebrating half a decade of Curet Performance Project. Let us connect and unite through the medium of dance as we try to answer the undying question together,  both performers and audience goers... What more can dance offer to represent the now? What Works?
