Our one week Winter Intensive will offer advanced dancers a chance to deeply explore their bodies, develop creative techniques for making work, and introduce new facets of the performance process to create more three dimensional movers and makers.

Monday, December 15- Friday, December 19

Mark Morris Dance Center

3 classes per day (Technique, Composition, and Advanced Performance Practices):

-Morning technique class taught by contemporary artists, including Alexandra Beller, Edward Rice, Darrin Wright, and others.

-Compositional Strategies, facilitated by Alexandra and the Company, will follow, where artists will be invited and guided to make material.

-Rotating series of master classes in topics like Viewpoints, Directing, Dramaturgy, and Partnering to help deepen both your performance and creative techniques.
