BalaSole Dance Company is offering emerging and re-emerging dance artists a chance to perform in the company's opening and closing pieces in July 2015 at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater.  Selection for this performance opportunity requires participation in BalaSole's Emerging & Re-Emerging Artist Dance Workshop on May 31, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM at New York Live Arts (NYC).

During the workshop, which includes the company's trademark collaborative choreography element, up to six (6) participants will be selected to perform in the company's July 17 & 18, 2015 5th Year Anniversary Concert.  The goal of this program is to provide emerging and re-emerging artists a unique contemporary dance training, a collaborative experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to perform and get visibility in a prominent NYC venue.

This workshop also provides an excellent performance opportunity and visibilty for foreign artists who do not have U.S. work visas.

For artists selected from the workshop to perform with the company in July 2015, please note that this is a non-paid performance opportunity.  BalaSole offers paid performance opportunities to solo artists (visit the "Auditions" page of our website).
