Gershwin Hotel is Calling Artists
From Billy Name, Neke Carson, Michael Lin, Stefan Lindfors to Dana Michel - we are always hungry for the new arts on th cutting edge.
The Gershwin Hotel has been dedicated more than one decade in supporting and discovering the emerging artful talents all over the world through our Artist-in-Residence program. The formats vary from painting, drawing, textile design, photography, installation, music, dance, performance, films, sculpture, architecture, writing to multimedia and many more.
For the resident artists will gain international exposure by being sponsored by the Gershwin Hotel. Many public relations efforts are put to ensure visaility and communication on the New York level as well as the international scene.
The prizes consist of an offer of a room and a shared creative space from two weeks to two months. Services are fundamental to the diffusion of creation are provided: fax, em-mail, exhibition or presentation space, reception party, and an occasional bottle of wine! Submit the application with entry form, picture, project definition and biography before March 31st, 2012. The laureates will be announced on April 15th, 2012.
