Gibney Dance Center Announces DiP Resident Artists
Gibney Dance Center has announced the first four choreographers to take part in its inaugural Dance in Process (DiP) residency program. The new year-round initiative launched alongside a partnership with Danspace Project will provide these recipients with rehearsal space, Center resources, and generous stipends to aid in the creation of new work.
“What makes DiP unique is that the development of both the program and the selection process has been entirely artist-driven, in line with our own values around the importance of community. We look forward to welcoming these artists to the Center and supporting them in every aspect of the creative process,” says Gina Gibney, Artistic and Executive Director of Gibney Dance.
