Join The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs for Info Sessions About Applying for and Securing City Funding for Arts and Culture
NEW YORK - The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) partners with five Local Arts Councils to present a series of informational sessions about applying for and securing City funding for the arts and cultural activities. If you are an arts or cultural nonprofit organization, or an unincorporated arts group on your way to incorporation, please considering joining.
At each session, DCA will offer an overview of the Cultural Development Fund, which is the city’s open, competitive funding process for arts and cultural organizations throughout the five boroughs. In addition, representatives from the five Local Arts Councils will discuss their funding opportunities and array of services for smaller organizations and unincorporated collectives at the sessions noted below.
Thursday, July 14 at 10am (Location: Roulette Intermedium, 509 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn)

Monday, July 18 at 6pm (Location: Queens Council on the Arts, 37-11 35th Avenue, Astoria)

Tuesday, July 26 at 7pm (Location: Culture Lounge, 10 Ferry Terminal Drive, Staten Island)
Includes representatives from: Staten Island Arts
Thursday, August 4 at 10am (Location: Department of Cultural Affairs, 31 Chambers Street, Manhattan)
Includes representatives from: Lower Manhattan Cultural Council
Tuesday, August 9 at 6:30pm (Location: Bronx Library Center @ Kingsbridge, 310 E Kingsbridge Road, Bronx)
Includes representatives from: Bronx Council on the Arts

You are welcome to attend any session, though borough-specific representatives will only be presenting at the sessions as identified above.
