Center Line: Shaping the Future of Gibney Dance Center

This event has already occurred. Please enjoy event information below.

When: Wednesday, October 24. 2012, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Where: Gibney Dance Center, 890 Broadway, Fifth Floor, Studio 5–2, New York, NY

Gibney Dance Center and Dance/NYC are partnering in the 2012-13 season to present a special six-part Center Line series of town hall discussions focused on the future of dance. This is an opportunity for members of the field to engage in a positive, action-oriented conversation about how dance as an art form can not only thrive, but ultimately have a positive impact on the larger community.

Shaping the Future of Gibney Dance Center
One of the guiding principles of GDC is to strategically meet the unmet needs of the dance field. Through this discussion, we hope to gain community insights into our programming — what works and what needs improvement — as well as which resources are redundant and which are still missing. We encourage you to attend and share your perspectives.
