Naganuma 2 Audition

Eligible dancers must be between the ages of 17 and 22. Current BFA candidates are strongly encouraged to audition. 

Note: The new, second company will join Naganuma Dance in an annual summer performance series overlooking the NYC skyline. The 2010 rehearsal period will run August 16-27, and culminate in an inaugural performance August 28 at Ailey’s Joan Weill Center for Dance. There will be a small rehearsal/performance fee to cover production costs. Select members of Naganuma 2 will be invited to apprentice/ take company class with Naganuma Dance  

RSVP casting@naganumadance.com. Registered dancers will be seen first. Sign in begins at 10 am, Studio 5B.

*Dancers who cannot make the May 15 date may audition informally by taking Ms. Naganuma’s class at Dance New Amsterdam on Friday, May 14 or 21 (2:30-4 pm). Dancers outside the NYC area may audition by sending a resume and youtube link to casting@naganumadance.com, or by mailing a short DVD/video sample to:
